Will anyone take down the Chiefs in the AFC? Will it be the Ravens or Bills to break through in January? Are the Titans a surprise team in the AFC with rookie QB Cam Ward? We are finally here at the start of the new NFL season. Here are my. AFC playoff predictions.
AFC Division Winners
Buffalo Bills - Head and shoulders above the rest of their division. Josh Allen is on a vengeance tour. They may not beat the Chiefs in the playoffs again, but they will be fine until at least late January.
Kansas City Chiefs - Much better division, especially the coaching. Ill take the team thats been to 5 out of the last 6 Super Bowls to win their division as long as Pat and Andy are there
Baltimore Ravens - This is about the rest of the division; the Bengals can't be fully trusted until further notice, Aaron Rodgers experiment in Pittsburgh cant be better than Lamar right now, and the Browns are the Browns.
Houston Texans - Don't love CJ Stroud's protection but I still think he is getting better, I like DeMeco Ryans as Head Coach, and their division is mostly mid.
AFC Wild Card
Denver Broncos - I like what Sean Payton and their GM George Paton have built with this team in a short period of time. Bo Nix isn't elite but he might be pretty good, and their defense is strong.
Las Vegas Raiders - I don't love the Raiders but I buy into Geno Smith, Pete Carroll and hopefully Ashton Jeanty and the culture shift that I see coming to this franchise.
Tennessee Titans - My bold take in May was that they were going to win their division, that was a bit too much. However, I love what I've seen and heard of and from Cam Ward this offseason. Their team is not very talented but I just have this string feeling they get to 9 wins.
AFC Championship
Chiefs over Bills
Until they are not in the Super Bowl again, I have to go with Kansas City
Super Bowl
Eagles over Chiefs
"Oh you are just bias!" Yeah for the team that put up almost 100 points in the NFC Chip and Super Bowl respectively.
